Jetpack in real life ? can you believe that?

Jetpacks are not new to us, In 1949, The U.S. Army began researching rocket pack technology at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama their main purpose is that they build something which can take their single soldier up in the sky, but that time jetpack is to heavy and large the military decided it didn’t fit the design parameters. so the development of jetpack technology came to a halt [source: science howstuffworks].  We see Jetpacks in movies and games too. Did you saw James Bond’s 1965 movie “Thunderball” by any chance? In this movie James Bond is using jetpack for escaping from the enemies. And i am pretty sure you play the GTA games and use jetpacks in the game for fun. like GTA Vice City, San Andreas etc..  my point is to tell you that Jetpacks are not new to us, we have seen Jetpacks

over the centuries but not in real action. But now technology makes the dream come true.

In this above picture you can clearly see the pilot is flying, fully functional jetpack in real life. It is light weight, more compact and more safer than previously introduced jetpacks.  This event was held in The Cavernous Atrium of Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center building in Washington. This demonstration was for a very short period of time, just for 26 sec only, after that it runs out of fuel. i know it may surprised you “only 26 sec flight” but it’s just a beginning they will made lots of improvements in performance in future for sure. [source: news discovery]

If we talk about the price it is quite expensive 100,000 to 150,000 dollars. But this jetpack is not for sale yet you can’t find these jetpacks in stores. We have to wait until they released more upgraded version with lots of improvements. i mean you just take only 26 to 30 sec flight with that thing, it’s not enough i know. people don’t want to pay 100000 Dollars for 30 sec flight it’s obvious.

Here is the video clip down below you want to see the jetpack in action in real life..
